Veer's Family
Wednesday 1/10 1:00pm At Veer’s home, his wife, Blessie, prepared our best meal of the trip. Even though they have a city wide power-outage everyday from 8:00am-Noon, she got up early, went to the market, and had it all ready for us. It was fabulous. We got to meet their three-year-old son, Jeremiah, and the one-year old daughter, Joanna Grace. We also met their two adopted sons, Makasa, and David (what great older brothers they are! And such servants).
6:00pm About a two-hour drive from Veer’s in Beawar, we stayed at Ajit Bahwan in Jodphur. The hotel actually belongs to the Maharajah, and is where his close relatives stayed. It was the first place we had high speed internet, but even that was sketchy. The hotel accommodations were very nice, though. It’s amazing to go from people barefoot in the streets with cows and dust to a palace with hot water, electricity, and extravagant art on the walls.

This is very nice of Veer to let all of you in their home. It was also very nice of Veer's wife to fix you all that meal. They have the cutest little kids! I wish I could go there sometime.
veer's family...i really like veers family...having known them...it was very cool to hear you talk about them! i know veer always told me that his wife could cook, so it is interesting that you think so too. and one thing i really like about their family is the fact that their middle names are joy and grace...i like how veer and his wife used fruits to name their kids...i love veer and blessie and jeremiah is cute!
I really enjoyed readin this article and also seeing them in chapel. Veer had an extremely beautiful family and the kids were very cute. You know that she is very a very caring person to get up with the power outage and everything just to make you guys breakfast. I have never had Indian food...is it spicy/good? i will hopefully go there someday and experience what all you guys got to experience. Thank you for writing about your experience. Taylor Hazlewood
Mr. Krake,
It must have been really amazing to see Veer and his family working and serving on their own turf. Especially after hearing his story and knowing a little about his persecutions, then to see what he really faces. What a great opportunity to be able to see such a godly man who faces great persecution stretch out his faith even in his every day life. What a life changing experience and challenge to see his family living out their faith. --Catherine Kirby

That's pretty awesome that Veer's wife was kind enough to get up really early and make breakfast for y'all. You definitely don't see that kind of servant spirit every day so I'm sure it was an awesome thing to experience that kind of compassion. She obviously cared to be a good hostess and her actions proved that very evidently.
aww Veer's family! i love them so much and im so jealous that you got to go and meet the whole family. I loved hearing you talk about what Veer has planned for the future. i cant wait till you all go back and i get to hear more about your second trip.
